Powerball Jackpot Reaches $425 Million
Sets New Powerball Record Prize
The Powerball jackpot for Wednesday’s drawing, Nov. 28, has reached
a game-record jackpot of $425 million! The estimated cash value of the jackpot is $278.3 million.
This jackpot is the largest prize ever offered in the Powerball game. The Powerball jackpot was last won in the drawing on Oct. 3, so it has been growing for nearly two months.
The previous jackpot record in Powerball was a $365 million prize won in February 2006 by eight co-workers at a Nebraska meatpacking plant.
Players have until 8:59 p.m. on Wednesday to purchase tickets for the drawing. Powerball drawings are held on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 9:59 p.m.
With the Powerball jackpot at $425 million, the Oklahoma Lottery is encouraging everyone to play responsibly.
