$2 MILLION POWERBALL PRIZE IS CLAIMED
Pennies from Heaven Trust I and Pennies from Heaven Trust II Accept Winnings
OKLAHOMA CITY (Aug. 20, 2013) — The $2 million winning Powerball ticket, from the July 31st drawing, was claimed at Lottery headquarters late last week by Heritage Trust Company, acting as trustee for Pennies from Heaven Trust I and Pennies from Heaven Trust II.
The winners successfully matched five of five white balls, which is a $1 million prize. By adding the Power Play option, the prize was doubled to $2 million. After taxes, the two trusts will receive a total of $1,420,000.
The winning ticket was purchased at D & W Quick Stop, located at 930 W. Main in Ada.
Since its launch, the Oklahoma Lottery has had four Powerball jackpot winners. Including this prize paid to Pennies from Heaven Trust I and Pennies from Heaven Trust II, the Oklahoma Lottery has awarded 33 prizes of $1 million or more.
