Local Schoolteacher Wins 2015 KIA Sorento EX

OKLAHOMA CITY (May. 14, 2015) - Oklahoma City resident, Ken Hardee, is the proud new owner of a 2015 KIA Sorento EX. The Oklahoma Lottery partnered with Oklahoma KIA dealerships to offer the KIA as a grand prize in the Thunder Up 2nd chance promotion. Mr. Hardee and his wife Laura, both long-time schoolteachers in the Oklahoma City area, won the 2015 KIA Sorento EX by submitting their non-winning Thunder Up scratchers throughout the season. In addition to the KIA, players also had chances to win autographed jerseys, fly-away trip packages and Lottery Lounge experiences.

Approximately 49,914 total entries were received throughout the promotion, which ran from October 30, 2014 through April 17, 2015.

The grand prize comes taxes paid; the Oklahoma Lottery paid all Federal and State taxes. Mr. Hardee accepted his prize yesterday afternoon at David Stanley KIA located at 339 SW 74th St in Oklahoma City.
