Two Trusts Accept Winnings

OKLAHOMA CITY (Mar. 18, 2016) - The $1 million winning Powerball ticket from the January 13th drawing was claimed at Lottery headquarters by Yippee QT Trust and Quite Trust.

The winners successfully matched five of five white balls, which is a $1 million prize. They did not select the Power Play option, which would have doubled the prize to $2 million. After taxes, the two trusts will receive a total of $710,000.

The winning ticket was purchased at QuikTrip, located at 7878 E Admiral Pl in Tulsa.

Including this prize paid to Yippee QT Trust and Quite Trust, the Oklahoma Lottery has awarded 48 prizes of $1 million or more since its launch.
