Below Par Trust Accepts Winnings

OKLAHOMA CITY (Jul. 12, 2016) - The $1 million winning Mega Millions ticket from the July 5, 2016 drawing was claimed at Lottery headquarters by the Below Par Trust.

"The winner successfully matched five of five white balls, which is a $1 million prize. They did not select the Megaplier option for an extra $1, which would have multiplied their prize to $5 million. After taxes, the trust will receive a total of $710,000.

The winning ticket was purchased at Hop & Sack 16 located at 2 SE 45th St in Lawton.

Since its launch, the Oklahoma Lottery has had 55 winners of $1 million dollars or more. Four of those winners have been lucky enough to hit the Powerball jackpot since the Oklahoma Lottery’s launch.
