Lawton Resident Wins $40,000 on Birthday!
Awarded Top Prize Playing Sterling Silver Scratcher
Oklahoma City (Dec. 1, 2009) – Mary Rhoades of Lawton was given an exciting birthday surprise – a winning Sterling Silver Scratcher worth $40,000!
“I received the Scratcher as a gift for my birthday, which was last week,” she said.
While shoppers were out searching for great deals, Rhoades scratched her way to extra cash. Her winning ticket was purchased at Williams Express #3, 134 SE Lee Boulevard, in Lawton.
Rhoades said she only plays the Lottery occasionally but most often on holidays. So far, $40K is the most she’s ever won and she’s looking forward to paying bills as well as paying off her car.
