Shawnee Woman Receives $10,000 Winning Scratcher as Christmas Gift!

Oklahoma City (Dec. 28, 2009) – Mary Lewis of Shawnee never dreamed the holiday season would bring her good luck to the tune of $10,000. She received a Lucky Cherry Doubler Scratcher as a Christmas gift that soon made her a winner!
“I thought my friend was playing a joke on me,” said Lewis. “Then I thought I was going to have a heart attack from the excitement!”
The winning scratcher was purchased at the Red Ball Party Shop, 1527 N. Kickapoo, in Shawnee.
Lewis, an avid player, has been playing the Oklahoma Lottery since it began four years ago. She plays the Lottery knowing that a portion of its proceeds helps support Oklahoma education.
For now, Lewis plans on making Christmas season last a little longer for her grandkids with a few more gifts under the tree.
