MOORE RESIDENT MAKES APPEARANCE ON LOTTERY GAME SHOW
OKLAHOMA CITY (April 4, 2008) – Dustin Horstkoetter, a resident of Moore,
Oklahoma, won over $10,483 in cash and prizes as a contestant on the twenty-third
episode of The Oklahoma Lottery Game Show, which aired on March 15.
Horstkoetter purchased his winning entry ticket at Q-Mart IV, located at 14944 S.
Sunnylane in Oklahoma City.
in Shawnee, Oklahoma.
Each 30-minute episode of The Oklahoma Lottery Game Show features seven contestants
(six new contestants and one returning champion) in a series of number-themed games.
All players are guaranteed $500, and may have a chance to win more than $50,000 in
cash and prizes in each show.
All contestants receive "star" treatment, including accommodations at the Sheraton
Oklahoma City Hotel in downtown Oklahoma City, dinner for the contestant and a guest,
and breakfast in the Aria Grill at the hotel.
Players can win a chance to be a contestant by playing The Oklahoma Lottery Game
Show Scratcher, which is available at all Lottery retail locations. Contestants are chosen
through a random drawing prior to each show’s taping. All players must be 18 or older.
The Game Show airs Saturdays at 6 p.m. on KOCB Channel 34 in Oklahoma City. The
show is rebroadcast in Tulsa on Cox Channel 3 Mondays at 2 p.m. and Wednesdays at
6:30 p.m. In Oklahoma City, the show re-airs on Cox Channel 7 Mondays at 2 p.m. and
Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m.
Net proceeds of all Lottery games are used to support improvements and enhancements
for Oklahoma education. More than $175 million has been contributed to education since
November 2005.
Proceeds are used statewide to supplement existing funds for a variety of important
purposes, including: teacher compensation and benefits, early childhood development
programs, college scholarships, classroom technology and construction of educational
facilities.
