STILLWATER RESIDENT HITS IT BIG PLAYING CASH 5
Walks Away with $25,000 in Cash
Oklahoma City (April 24, 2009) – Larry Ley of Stillwater won $25,000 taxes paid playing the Oklahoma Lottery’s Cash 5. He started playing Cash 5 about six months ago.
Ley purchased his winning ticket at Conoco, 601 E. 6th Ave., in Stillwater. He received his winning numbers through Easy Pick.
“I play the Lottery once or twice a week and I usually buy my tickets at this store because the people are nice,” he said. “When I realized I had won, I just kept asking the clerk, ‘What?’ I think I asked her six times.”
Ley said he plans to pay bills with his winnings and he would encourage others to play the Lottery. He said he thinks it’s great that the Lottery helps support Oklahoma education, especially since he works for a school system.
