ALTUS RESIDENT WINS $15K PLAYING OKLAHOMA BINGO SCRATCHER
ALTUS RESIDENT WINS ON LOTTERY GAME SHOW
OKLAHOMA CITY (August 1, 2008) – Georganna Carrisalez of Altus won $15,000 playing the Oklahoma Bingo Scratcher. She purchased her winning ticket at Stripes #2368 at 1120 Falcon Road in Altus.

Carrisalez has been occasionally playing the Lottery since its launch and plans to use her winnings toward home improvements.

“I’m shocked and still pinching myself to see if it’s true,” she said. “After staring at the ticket for 30 minutes I still wasn’t sure I was a winner, so I woke up my daughter to double check.”

Net proceeds of all Lottery games are used to support improvements and enhancements for Oklahoma education. More than $209 million has been contributed to education since November 2005.

Proceeds are used statewide to supplement existing funds for a variety of important education purposes, including: teacher compensation and benefits, early childhood development programs, college scholarships, classroom technology and construction of educational facilities.
