Abraham Godinger Never Misses a Chance to Buy a Ticket in Oklahoma

Oklahoma City (August 17, 2009) – Highlighting the Oklahoma Lottery’s broad appeal, Abraham Godinger of Israel is an avid player and his hobby recently paid off with a Powerball win of $10,010. He purchased his winning ticket at the Kum & Go at 11296 E. 71st in Tulsa.
Employed by an aircraft company, Godinger makes several trips a year to Tulsa.
“I’ve been playing the same numbers for months,” he said. “I think my wife picked them.”
Godinger’s winning ticket was from a drawing in mid-July and he’s been carrying the ticket in his wallet ever since.
“I didn’t realize I had won until yesterday,” he said. “I went to purchase tickets and realized I had older tickets in my wallet that needed to be checked.”
For now, Godinger has no specific plans for how to spend his cash but he said he’s going to keep playing.
“I’ll come back and play if you can promise me a win,” he said, with a laugh.
Godinger hasn’t told his wife yet that he won. He wants to share the good news when he has the check in hand.
