VINITA WORKERS SPLIT $10K POWERBALL PRIZE

Employees of Warren Clinic in Vinita, Oklahoma, won $10,000 playing Powerball as part of a weekly pool.

Winners include: Brenda Brown, Cyndi Bussey, Misty Dick, Susan Frost, Bob and Lana Gray, Anne Hext, Christy Kenworthy, Karen Mowry, Cathy Palmer and Brenda Partington. They plan to spend the money on their kids and for Christmas shopping.  For one of the winners, the prize money will buy a much needed replacement water heater for her home.

Anne Hext (pictured on the right) traveled to Oklahoma Lottery Headquarters in Oklahoma City recently to claim $10,000 in prize money she and fellow Warren Clinic employees won playing Powerball.

The Warren Clinic group has played Powerball for four years, purchasing tickets each Wednesday. Before the Lottery came to Oklahoma, they played in Kansas and Missouri.

The winning ticket was purchased at Shout & Sack Deli, located at 305 S. Wilson in Vinita.

Net proceeds of all Lottery games are used to support improvements and enhancements for Oklahoma education. More than $139 million has been contributed to education since November 2005.
