OKLAHOMA CITY MAN BUYS WINNING POWERBALL TICKET FROM REMINGTON PARK
Charles Campbell won $50,015 playing Powerball with a ticket he purchased at Remington Park for the August 1st drawing.
“I stopped by after work and played $20 on a video gaming machine and ended up winning $127. I used some of the winnings to purchase a Powerball ticket, and I put the rest in my pocket,” Campbell said.
Campbell watched the drawing last night and was so excited he re-watched the drawing on Channel 53 in disbelief. He plans on using the money to make home repairs, pay bills and give to his church.
Net proceeds of all Lottery games are used to support improvements and enhancements for Oklahoma education. More than $136 million has been contributed to education since November 2005.
