Press Release

Oklahoma City (Dec. 1, 2008) – Jacqueline Jones and Christopher West of Oklahoma City have one thing in common—they both have a little more in their pocketbooks from playing The Oklahoma Lottery Scratchers.
Jones played the Lottery’s Merry Money Scratcher and won $1,000. She purchased her ticket from Bryant Food Mart, 1715 N. Bryant, in Oklahoma City.
“When I realized I had won I started screaming,” she says. “I was shocked. I check with the clerk to see if I had actually won.”
She plays the Lottery knowing it helps support Oklahoma’s education. She plans on using her winnings toward holiday shopping for her children.
West played the Lottery’s Lucky 7s Scratcher and won $777. He purchased his winning ticket at Hurley’s Corner, 1150 Cedar Lane Road, in Norman.
“I looked at the ticket three times to check if I was a winner.”
Like Jones, West plans to use his new cash toward holiday shopping.
