BIG CABIN COUPLE WIN $12,000!

Oklahoma City (Jan. 12, 2009) – A $2 Oklahoma Lottery Scratcher brought more than entertainment to Calvin and June Ray—it brought cash. In an instant, the Big Cabin couple won $12,000.

Calvin and June play the lottery about once a week and purchased their winning ticket at the Jiffy Mart at 720 Walnut Street in Chelsea. Surprised by the amount, the scratcher’s top prize, they had the retailer check the ticket to make sure it was correct.

The couple plays the Oklahoma Lottery knowing that a portion of its proceeds helps support Oklahoma education.

“We think it’s good,” said Calvin.

Calvin and June plan to use their winnings toward bills.
