OKLAHOMA CITY WINNER LIVES UP TO HIS NAME
Scott Winner scratches his way to $10K
Oklahoma City (Jan. 13, 2009) – Scott Winner’s name has a new meaning behind it as he celebrates winning $10,000 from playing the Oklahoma Lottery’s Flamin’ 7s Scratcher. The Oklahoma City resident purchased his winning ticket at TJ Food Mart, 2919 SW 59, in Oklahoma City.
“I couldn’t believe it at first and I wasn’t going to believe it until I had the retailer check the ticket,” he says.
Winner plans to use his cash toward paying off bills and adds that he is glad the Lottery helps support education.
“I love it. Oklahoma’s education needs it.”
