LAWTON RESIDENT WINS $12K PLAYING ACES HIGH SCRATCHER
Oklahoma City (Jan. 20, 2009) – Daniel Oberrender of Lawton recently won $12,000 in cash playing the Oklahoma Lottery Aces High Scratcher.
“I was in total shock,” said Oberrender. “I had to do a double take and even reread the playing instructions even though I’ve played the Aces High ticket several times.”
He purchased his winning ticket from KC Distributors at 4513 SW Lee in Lawton. He plans to use his winnings toward paying off his motorcycle.
A regular Lottery player, Oberrender plays knowing the proceeds go toward Oklahoma’s education.
“I think it’s wonderful the Lottery supports education,” he said.
