OKLAHOMA CITY RESIDENT WINS TOP PRIZE PLAYING CASH AND KISSES
Scratcher was Part of Anniversary Gift

 

Oklahoma City (Jan. 26, 2009) – Thanh Tran of Oklahoma City won the top prize of $1,400 playing the Oklahoma Lottery’s Cash and Kisses Scratcher.
 
“My husband bought me the ticket on our anniversary,” she said. “I couldn’t believe I won and my husband made me check the ticket again.”
 
The winning ticket was purchased at Bryant Food Mart, 1517 N. Bryant, in Oklahoma City.
 
Tran plans on using her winnings to pay bills.


 
About the Oklahoma Lottery
Net proceeds of all Lottery games are used to support improvements and enhancements for Oklahoma education. More than $244 million has been contributed to education since November 2005 with funds directed to the higher education capital bond issue and funds directed to the Oklahoma Education Lottery Trust Fund (OELTF). The Oklahoma Legislature appropriates the OELTF.
 
Proceeds are used statewide to supplement existing funds for a variety of important education purposes, including: teacher compensation and benefits, early childhood development programs, college scholarships, classroom technology and construction of educational facilities.
