Press Release

Bill and Mary Cato, from Vian, Oklahoma, cashed in a $40,000 Powerball ticket on Monday.
The Cato’s purchased their ticket from McQuick Stop in Vian.  They have been playing the Lottery since its beginning. The Catos picked their numbers by having his retailer print a list of winning numbers and selecting numbers that had been drawn frequently.
The couple doesn’t know what they’re going to do with their winnings, but Mary says, “we have a lot of thinking to do.”
Net proceeds of all lottery games are used to support improvements and enhancements for Oklahoma education. More than $136 million has been contributed to education since November 2005.
