The Oklahoma Lottery Introduces Pick 4!
Lots of Ways to Win with New Game

Oklahoma City, Okla. (June 21, 2011) — The Oklahoma Lottery offers players more ways to win with the addition of the new game Pick 4 launching July 5! Cash prizes range from $50 to a top prize of $5,000.

Pick 4 tickets start at a $1 per play and provide five available plays on each playslip. Players choose four different numbers from one to nine. To win, the chosen numbers must fall within the following play types:

Straight – Match all four numbers in the exact order drawn
Box – Match all four number in any order drawn
Front Pair – Match the first two numbers in the exact order drawn
Middle Pair – Match the middle two numbers in the exact order drawn
Back Pair – Match the last two numbers in the exact order drawn
Combo – Match all four numbers in any order drawn (pays as a straight play)

“We like to offer our players a variety of entertaining games to choose from,” said Jim Scroggins, Oklahoma Lottery executive director. “Pick 4 is another exciting option that will soon be available at Lottery retailers.”

Starting July 5, tickets may be purchased until 8:59 p.m. Pick 4 drawings are held seven nights a week after 9:00 p.m.

About the Oklahoma Lottery
Net proceeds of all Lottery games are used to support improvements and enhancements for Oklahoma education. More than $400 million has been contributed to education since November 2005 with funds directed to common education, career and technical education and to the higher education capital bond issue through the Oklahoma Education Lottery Trust Fund (OELTF). The Oklahoma Legislature appropriates the OELT. Proceeds are used statewide to supplement existing funds for a variety of important education purposes, including: teacher compensation and benefits, early childhood development programs, college scholarships, classroom technology and construction of educational facilities.
