Oklahoma Resident Wins $1 Million Dollar Hot Lotto Jackpot!
Seiling Resident is State’s Newest Millionaire!
Oklahoma City, Okla. (June 24, 2011) —Doyle Howard of Seiling is Oklahoma’s newest millionaire having claimed the winning Hot Lotto jackpot ticket from Wednesday’s drawing worth $1M.
Howard purchased his ticket at the Taloga Short Stop in Taloga, Okla. where he said he often buys his Lottery tickets. He first realized he had the winning ticket while talking with the storeowner.
“I asked her to read the numbers and then I started shaking. I asked her to read the numbers again, and then we both started yelling!” said Howard. “The funny thing is that she told me about three months ago, ‘I wish you would win this!’”
Howard said he is most looking forward to paying off farming bills and planning for retirement. Before, he expected to have to work until he was 90 years old! Now, he may try to retire in the next few years.
When playing Hot Lotto, Howard said he always purchases the multiplier option—Hot Lotto with Sizzler—and usually selects his numbers via Quick Pick.
