EDMOND MAN WINS GAS FOR A YEAR
PLAYING FILL‘ER UP® SCRATCHER – A $2,500 VALUE
OKLAHOMA CITY (June 25, 2008) – Barry Cypret of Edmond won gas for a year valued at $2,500 playing the Oklahoma Lottery’s Fill‘er Up® Scratcher.
Cypret has been playing the Lottery since its launch and usually plays at the FM Food Mart located at 1616 N. Portland in Oklahoma City. He bought his winning ticket on June 23.
Cypret also made an appearance on The Oklahoma Lottery Game Show in May; he’s earning a reputation of being a good luck charm.
“My friends ask me to purchase their tickets since I’ve been so lucky,” he said. “I was recently on The Oklahoma Lottery Game Show and won more than $8,000 and I win smaller prizes all the time.”
“I have three children in school and one soon to be,” he said. “I think it’s great that Lottery proceeds go toward education. Anything to help make schools better is a good program and you can’t win if you don’t play!”
How to Play:
To win, customers must reveal three “Gas Can” play symbols in any row, column or diagonal and they win the prize shown in the “prize box.” If the player reveals a “Gas” prize symbol in the “prize box,” they win gas for a year.
The Fill‘er Up Scratchers cost $1 and can be purchased at any Oklahoma Lottery retailer.
Net proceeds of all Lottery games are used to support improvements and enhancements for Oklahoma education. More than $193 million has been contributed to education since November 2005.
Proceeds are used statewide to supplement existing funds for a variety of important education purposes, including: teacher compensation and benefits, early childhood development programs, college scholarships, classroom technology and construction of educational facilities.
