Oklahoma Lottery Offers Players More Chances to Win



Oklahoma City (June 25, 2009) – The Oklahoma Lottery announces the beginning of daily drawings for Oklahoma Cash 5 beginning Wednesday, July 1. For $1 per play, lottery players now have more chances to win the top prize of $25,000 with taxes paid.
“We wanted to offer our players more chances to win and increase the excitement surrounding this popular game,” said Jim Scroggins, executive director for the Oklahoma Lottery. “For just one dollar, a return of $25,000 is a thrilling win.”
The drawings were previously held every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
Oklahoma Cash 5 tickets may be purchased until 8:59 p.m. daily. To learn how to play Oklahoma Cash 5 or to check winning numbers, visit www.lottery.ok.gov.

Net proceeds of all Lottery games are used to support improvements and enhancements for Oklahoma education. More than $271 million has been contributed to education since November 2005 with funds directed to the higher education capital bond issue and funds directed to the Oklahoma Education Lottery Trust Fund (OELTF).
