OKLAHOMA CITY (March 17, 2008) – Lloyd White, a resident of Shady Point, Oklahoma, recently claimed a $17,000 prize he won playing the Scratcher Sapphire Blue 7s. White plans on paying off his house and bills with his winnings.
 
The winning ticket was purchased at E-Z Mart located at 271 Highway 59 in Shady Point.
 
Net proceeds of all Lottery games are used to support improvements and enhancements for Oklahoma education.  More than $175 million has been contributed to education since November 2005.
 
Proceeds are used statewide to supplement existing funds for a variety of important purposes, including: teacher compensation and benefits, early childhood development programs, college scholarships, classroom technology and construction of educational facilities.
