EDMOND RESIDENT WINS $10K PLAYING POWERBALLEDMOND RESIDENT WINS $10K PLAYING POWERBALL
  
OKLAHOMA CITY (March 24, 2008) – John Ringler, a resident of Edmond, Oklahoma, won $10,000 on March 22 playing Powerball.
 
The winning ticket was purchased at EZ Mart at 301 West Memorial Road in Edmond. Ringler said that this was his first big win and that he plans on putting part of his winnings into savings.
 
The winning numbers for the March 22nd drawing were 7-25-28-46-48 with a Powerball number of 19. The Power Play multiplier drawn was 3.
 
Net proceeds of all Lottery games are used to support improvements and enhancements for Oklahoma education.  More than $175 million has been contributed to education since November 2005.
 
Proceeds are used statewide to supplement existing funds for a variety of important purposes, including: teacher compensation and benefits, early childhood development programs, college scholarships, classroom technology and construction of educational facilities.
