OCHELATA RESIDENT WINS $10K PLAYING POWERBALLOCHELATA RESIDENT WINS $10K PLAYING POWERBALL
  
OKLAHOMA CITY (March 26, 2008) – Rebecca Tom, a resident of Ochelata, Oklahoma, won $10,003 on March 15 playing Powerball.

The winning ticket was purchased at Food Pyramid #67, a convenience store located at 2501 SE Washington in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.

Tom has played the Lottery since it launched in Oklahoma. She plans to pay bills with the money.

Net proceeds of all Lottery games are used to support improvements and enhancements for Oklahoma education. More than $175 million has been contributed to education since November 2005.

Proceeds are used statewide to supplement existing funds for a variety of important purposes, including: teacher compensation and benefits, early childhood development programs, college scholarships, classroom technology and construction of educational facilities.
