NORMAN RESIDENTS WIN TOP PRIZE PLAYING 3D CUBE CASH SCRATCHER
Two Players Take Home $15,000
Oklahoma City (March 27, 2009) – Buddy Allred and Steve Campbell of Norman are fans of the Oklahoma Lottery’s new 3D Cube Cash Scratcher. Both have won the Scratchers top prize of $15,000.
“My first thought was comfort,” said Allred. “I really need a new couch!”
Allred plays Powerball regularly but only occasionally buys Scratchers. He purchased his winning ticket from the Corner Market at 8320 E. Franklin Road in Norman.
Along with a couch, Allred also plans on purchasing a Harley-Davidson® Sportster.® He says he plays the Lottery knowing the proceeds help support Oklahoma education.
Campbell purchased his winning ticket at J. Booties at 3750 West Main in Norman.
“I didn’t know how much I had won because I don’t actually scratch the tickets,” said Campbell. “I just had the retailer check the ticket and they said I needed to claim my prize at the Lottery headquarters. When I got home, I scratched the ticket and learned I had won $15K.”
Campbell says he plans on buying a car for his son who is in college.
