CLEARVIEW MAN WINS GAS FOR A YEAR
PLAYING FILL‘ER UP® SCRATCHER – A $2,500 VALUE
OKLAHOMA CITY (May 29, 2008) – John Marzette, a Clearview resident, won gas for a year valued at $2,500 on May 28 playing the Oklahoma Lottery’s Fill‘er Up® Scratcher.
Marzette purchased his winning ticket at Harrison Food Mart located at 5105 N. Harrison in Shawnee.
“I just started playing the Lottery so I was surprised when I realized I had won,” he said. “This will go toward traveling over the summer and help me fix up my muscle car.”
To win, customers must reveal three “Gas Can” play symbols in any row, column or diagonal and they win the prize shown in the “prize box.” If the player reveals a “Gas” prize symbol in the “prize box,” they win gas for a year.
The Fill‘er Up Scratchers cost $1 and can be purchased at any Oklahoma Lottery retailer.
Net proceeds of all Lottery games are used to support improvements and enhancements for Oklahoma education. More than $190 million has been contributed to education since November 2005.
Proceeds are used statewide to supplement existing funds for a variety of important education purposes, including: teacher compensation and benefits, early childhood development programs, college scholarships, classroom technology and construction of educational facilities.
