DEADLINE APPROACHES FOR POWERBALL
WINNERS IN BARTLESVILLE, TULSA
The Oklahoma Lottery is looking for the owners of two winning Powerball tickets purchased in the Tulsa area for the June 27 drawing. One of the winning tickets is worth $200,000, and the other is worth $10,000.
Winners have 180 days from the day of the drawing to claim their prize at the Oklahoma Lottery Headquarters, located at 3817 N. Santa Fe in Oklahoma City. The deadline to claim these prizes is Dec. 24.
The $200,000 ticket was purchased at Kum & Go #980, located at 925 S.W. Frank Philip in Bartlesville. The $10,000 ticket was purchased at Kum & Go #866, located at 14495 E. 51st St. South in Tulsa.
The winning numbers from the June 27 drawing were 9, 11, 13, 24, 43 and the Powerball was 18. The Power Play multiplier was 4.
In Oklahoma, the first $500,000 of unclaimed prize monies will be transferred to the Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services for the treatment of compulsive gambling disorder and educational programs related to such disorder. All other unclaimed prizes will be added back to the overall prize pool to be awarded for future prizes or special prize promotions.
Net proceeds of all Lottery games are used to support improvements and enhancements for Oklahoma education. More than $157 million has been contributed to education since November 2005.
Proceeds are used statewide to supplement existing funds for a variety of important purposes, including: teacher compensation and benefits, early childhood development programs, college scholarships, classroom technology and construction of educational facilities.
