Ginny Sanders, a resident of Norman, Oklahoma, won $4,327 as a contestant on the seventh episode of The Oklahoma Lottery Game Show, which aired on Nov. 24.

Sanders purchased her winning entry ticket at B & B Country Store Inc., located at 3831 E. Alameda in Norman. She plans to use the money to pay off her jeep and take a vacation.

Each 30-minute episode of The Oklahoma Lottery Game Show features seven contestants (six new contestants and one returning champion) in a series of number-themed games. All players are guaranteed $500, and may have a chance to win more than $50,000 in cash and prizes in each show.

All contestants receive "star" treatment, including limousine service for travel to and from the shows taping, accommodations at the Sheraton Oklahoma City Hotel in downtown Oklahoma City, dinner for the contestant and a guest, and breakfast in the Aria Grill at the hotel.

Players can win a chance to be a contestant by playing The Oklahoma Lottery Game Show Scratcher, which is available at all Lottery retail locations. Contestants are chosen through a random drawing prior to each shows taping. All players must be 18 or older.

The Game Show airs Saturdays at 6 p.m. on KOCB Channel 34 in Oklahoma City. The show is rebroadcast in Tulsa on Cox Channel 3 Mondays at 2 p.m. and Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. In Oklahoma City, the show re-airs on Cox Channel 7 Mondays at 2 p.m. and Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m.

Net proceeds of all Lottery games are used to support improvements and enhancements for Oklahoma education. More than $157 million has been contributed to education since November 2005.

Proceeds are used statewide to supplement existing funds for a variety of important purposes, including: teacher compensation and benefits, early childhood development programs, college scholarships, classroom technology and construction of educational facilities.
