Two Tickets Win Top Prize of $25,000 Taxes Paid

This week proved to be a lucky one for Oklahoma Cash 5 players. In each of this week’s drawings, a player matched all 5 numbers in the new Oklahoma Lottery game to win the top prize of $25,000 taxes paid.

Oklahoma Cash 5 players can win by matching 2, 3, 4, or 5 of the balls.

Floyd & Becky Smith of Sand Springs claimed their prize from Tuesday night’s drawing at Oklahoma Lottery Headquarters on Thursday. They purchased their winning ticket at A & S Fuel, 5500 S. Hwy 97 in Sand Springs.

The winning ticket for Thursday night’s drawing was purchased at 7 AM Food Store at 5310 North Rockwell Avenue in Bethany. The prize had not been claimed as of Friday morning.

“Congratulations go out to Floyd & Becky and to Thursday night’s winning ticket holder,” said Jim Scroggins, Executive Director of the Oklahoma Lottery Commission. “And congratulations to the almost 600 players who have won the second tier prize of $500 since Oklahoma Cash 5 launched in September.”

Since the Oklahoma Lottery launched, more than $139 million in prizes has been won playing Oklahoma Lottery games.

“It is great to see Oklahomans having fun and winning playing Oklahoma Cash 5,” Scroggins said. “But the best part is knowing that the real winner is Oklahoma education with more than $86 million having been transferred so far.”
