Kevin Haggard Powerball Team Wins $10,000

LAWTON MAN WINS $10K PLAYING POWERBALL

Lawton resident Jimmy Jackiewicz (left), and his brother, Frank, visited Oklahoma Lottery Headquarters in Oklahoma City to claim a $10,000 Powerball prize.

Jackiewicz won $10,000 on Oct. 31 playing Powerball.  
 
The winning ticket was purchased at Stripes, located at 6457 N.W. Cache Rd. in Lawton.  
 
Jackiewicz plans to help his son renovate his home with a portion of the winnings.  He will also share some of it with his brother and put the rest in savings.  Jackiewicz celebrated his win by taking his entire family out to dinner.
 
Net proceeds of all Lottery games are used to support improvements and enhancements for Oklahoma education.  More than $154 million has been contributed to education since November 2005.
