CACHE RESIDENT MAKES GAME SHOW APPEARANCE
Chevonne Asenap Wins $500 Playing Game Show

Chevonne Asenap, a realtor from Cache, Oklahoma, won $500 as a contestant on the third episode of The Oklahoma Lottery Game Show, which aired on Oct. 27.

Asenap purchased her winning entry ticket at Gas Mart, located at 1 S.E. H Ave. in Cache. She plans to use the money to pay bills.

Each 30-minute episode of The Oklahoma Lottery Game Show features seven contestants (six new contestants and one returning champion) in a series of number-themed games. All players are guaranteed $500, and may have a chance to win more than $50,000 in cash and prizes in each show.

All contestants receive "star" treatment, including limousine service for travel to and from the show’s taping, accommodations at the Sheraton Oklahoma City Hotel in downtown Oklahoma City, dinner for the contestant and a guest, and breakfast in the Aria Grill at the hotel.

Players can win a chance to be a contestant by playing The Oklahoma Lottery Game Show Scratcher, which is available at all Lottery retail locations.  Contestants are chosen through a random drawing prior to each show’s taping.  All players must be 18 or older.

The Game Show airs Saturdays at 6 p.m. on KOCB Channel 34 in Oklahoma City.  The show is rebroadcast in Tulsa on Cox Channel 3 Mondays at 2 p.m. and Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m.  In Oklahoma City, the show re-airs on Cox Channel 7 Mondays at 2 p.m. and Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m.

Net proceeds of all Lottery games are used to support improvements and enhancements for Oklahoma education.  More than $154 million has been contributed to education since November 2005.  For more information about the Oklahoma Lottery, please visit www.lottery.ok.gov.
