Playing together was lucky for a group of 20 Oklahomans who recently claimed their $10,000 Powerball prize from the Oklahoma Lottery.
The winning ticket, purchased at the Rainforest Conoco on 12th Avenue in Ardmore, matched four white balls and the Powerball to win the $10,000 prize for a pool of workers from the Michelin Tire Plant in Ardmore.
Members of the winning group were Alan Anderson, Sulphur; Jay Barrick, Marietta; Marcella Bartee, Marietta; Tony Bartee, Marietta; Sherry Campbell, Marietta; Hal Chancey, Healdton; Lisa Charles, Healdton; Sandra Copeland, Wilson; Trina Cummings, Lone Grove; Herbert Davis, Tishomingo; Drema Gray, Mannsville; Chris Hacker, Lone Grove; Michael Newton, Healdton; Tommy Orr, Madill; Tommy O’Shea, Kingston; Randy Ray, Pauls Valley; Vernon Ritter, Ardmore; Pattrick Robbins, Mannsville; Kena Roundtree, Ardmore; and Joe Vaughn, Ardmore.
Since the Oklahoma Lottery launched, more than $131 million in prizes has been won playing Oklahoma Lottery games, said Jim Scroggins, Oklahoma Lottery Commission Executive Director.
“It’s great to see groups like the Michelin Tire group playing and enjoying Oklahoma Lottery games,” said Scroggins. “But the best part is knowing that the real winner is Oklahoma education with more than $86 million having been transferred so far.”
