Press Release

Oklahoma City (Oct. 29, 2008) – For Leslie Ellenburg and Deborah Holt of Edmond, a second chance can mean major cash. Ellenburg won $25,000 and Holt won $5,000 through a second chance drawing during the Oklahoma Lottery’s Harley-Davidson® Scratcher promotion.
For Ellenburg, it couldn’t have come at a better time.
“My husband had open heart surgery in August,” she says. “So some of the money will go toward medical bills.”
A longtime Lottery player, Ellenburg purchased her winning entry ticket at the Excel Express, 217 East Danforth, in Edmond.
“I support the Lottery because it benefits Oklahoma’s education,” she says.
Ellenburg was in shock when she learned she had won—and though some of the winnings will go toward medical expenses, she’s going to make sure they have fun, too.
“We might go on a shopping spree!”
Deborah Holt is a Lottery fan as well but mostly plays Powerball and Hot Lotto. She bought a Harley-Davidson® Scratcher on a whim for her husband but plans on using the winnings to help family.
Holt purchased her winning entry ticket at Circle K, 800 W Main, in Norman.
Additional Winners from the Harley Davidson Promotion
Jimmy Thedford of Duncan won a Harley-Davidson® Fat Boy® motorcycle in the final drawing of the Oklahoma Lottery’s Harley-Davidson Scratcher promotion.
Cash prize winners from the final promotion drawing include: Leslie Ellenburg of Edmond, $25,000 winner, and $5,000 winners Teresa Colwell of Oklahoma City, Deborah Holt of Edmond, Michael Prince of Quinton and Cliff Widener of Tuttle.
