Tulsa-area residents will soon be able to watch weekly Powerball drawings on local cable television.  Beginning Oct. 17, Powerball drawings will air Wednesdays and Saturdays at 9:59 p.m. on Cox 3 in Tulsa.

Cox 3 offers local programming in Bixby, Broken Arrow, Catoosa, Claremore, Coweta, Creek County, Dewar, Glenpool, Henryetta, Jenks, Kiefer, Muskogee, Okmulgee, Osage County, Owasso, Rogers County, Sand Springs, Sapulpa, Tulsa, Tulsa County and Wagoner.

“We are glad to now have a drawing station in the Tulsa area”, said Jim Scroggins, executive director of the Oklahoma Lottery. “With numerous players and winners coming from the Tulsa area, it only makes sense.”

Players can also check their winning numbers on the Oklahoma Lottery website, www.lottery.ok.gov/powerball.asp, or by visiting their closest Lottery retailer.

Net proceeds of all Lottery games are used to support improvements and enhancements for Oklahoma education.  More than $144 million has been contributed to education since November 2005.
