OKLAHOMA CITY RESIDENT WINS ON LOTTERY GAME SHOW
OKLAHOMA CITY (Oct. 8, 2008) – Toni Alexander of Oklahoma City won $600 as a contestant on The Oklahoma Lottery Game Show, which aired on October 4.
Alexander purchased her winning entry ticket at Mart 23 at 4631 NE 23 Street in Oklahoma City.
Each 30-minute episode of The Oklahoma Lottery Game Show featured seven contestants (six new contestants and one returning champion) in a series of number-themed games. All players were guaranteed $500 with the possibility of winning more than $50,000 in cash and prizes in each show.
All contestants received “star” treatment, including accommodations at the Sheraton Oklahoma City Hotel in downtown Oklahoma City, dinner for the contestant and a guest, and breakfast in the Aria Grill at the hotel.
Net proceeds of all Lottery games are used to support improvements and enhancements for Oklahoma education. More than $220 million has been contributed to education since November 2005.
Proceeds are used statewide to supplement existing funds for a variety of important purposes, including: teacher compensation and benefits, early childhood development programs, college scholarships, classroom technology and construction of educational facilities.
