$800K WINNING POWERBALL TICKET SOLD IN OKLAHOMA CITY
There were no jackpot winners in Wednesday night’s Powerball drawing, but the multi-state Lottery’s biggest winning ticket was sold in Oklahoma. A Powerball ticket worth $800,000 was sold at C Town, a convenience store located at 200 S.W. Grand Blvd. in Oklahoma City.
The winner has 180 days from the day of the drawing to claim their prize at Oklahoma Lottery Headquarters, 3817 N. Santa Fe in Oklahoma City.
The winning numbers from Wednesday’s draw were 5, 24, 26, 33, 47 and the Powerball was 1. The Power Play multiplier was 4.
Oklahoma Lottery Executive Director Jim Scroggins reminded all players to carefully check their tickets after every draw. Players can obtain winning numbers on the Oklahoma Lottery website, www.lottery.ok.gov, or by simply visiting their closest lottery retailer.
There were three $200,000 winners in Wednesday’s Powerball drawing, from Iowa, Maine and Pennsylvania. The jackpot for the next drawing, to be held on Saturday, Sept. 15, is $29 million.
Net proceeds of all Lottery games are used to support improvements and enhancements for Oklahoma education. More than $139 million has been contributed to education since November 2005.
