$800K POWERBALL WINNER CLAIMS PRIZE
Two Tulsa Area Winners Saturday
Rodolfo Cruz, an Oklahoma City resident for 30 years, is the $800,000 winner from the Sept. 12 Powerball drawing.
Cruz purchased his winning ticket at C Town, a convenience store in southwest Oklahoma City, on his birthday.
He was feeling sorry for himself because no one had called or visited him to wish him a happy birthday, so he went out and purchased himself a Powerball ticket. When he returned from buying the ticket, his family was waiting there to surprise him.
Cruz plans to share the money with his family, and is considering buying a boat.
