Man Wins First Top Prize of $40,000 Playing New Scratcher
Bo Welch of Morris is the first person to win the top prize of $40,000 playing the Oklahoma Lottery’s newest $5 Scratcher—Stacks of Cash.
Welch purchased his winning ticket at the Kum & Go at 1220 South Wood in Okmulgee. When he realized he had won, he was in shock. He plans on using his cash toward a new truck or jeep. |

Number of Lottery Jackpot Winners in Oklahoma Ranks Among Top in the Nation
Are Oklahomans luckier than residents of other states? According to the statistics, we seem to be. In Hot Lotto, the Oklahoma Lottery is number one in the nation with an overall frequency of 1.6 jackpot winners per year in the nearly two years we have offered the game. Oklahoma Lottery to Launch Mega Millions Jan. 31, 2010
The Oklahoma Lottery announced today the January 31st launch of Mega Millions, a multi-state lottery game with jackpots beginning at $12 million.

The Oklahoma Lottery Seeks Second Jackpot Winner in November!
For a second time this month, the Oklahoma Lottery is seeking the owner of a winning jackpot worth millions. A Powerball ticket worth $32.8M from Saturday’s Powerball drawing was sold at Kwik Chek #38 at 505 S. Garfield in Kiowa.
The numbers drawn were 7, 26, 36, 49, 58 and the Power Ball number was 4. The Power Play multiplier was 5. The owner of the winning ticket will be the fourth Powerball jackpot winner in Oklahoma.

Oklahoma Lottery is Seeking $6.78M Jackpot Winner
There’s a winner somewhere! The Oklahoma Lottery is looking for the owner of a winning jackpot ticket from Saturday’s Hot Lotto drawing worth $6.78 million. The winning ticket was purchased at the Homeland at 1100 West Main Street in Norman using one of the Lottery’s self-service vending machines.
The numbers drawn were 7, 9, 18, 21, 33 and the Hot Ball number was 8. The owner of the winning ticket will be the third Hot Lotto Jackpot winner in Oklahoma.

Oklahoma Cash 5 and Pick 3 Move to Computerized Drawings Sept. 20, 2009
The Oklahoma Lottery announces its decision to move to computerized drawings for its Oklahoma Cash 5 and Pick 3 games effective Sept. 20, 2009. The Oklahoma Lottery will also eliminate the nightly televised drawings with this change.
The Pick 3 drawing has aired live since November 2005 while the Oklahoma Cash 5 drawing has been airing since September 2006, both currently air on Oklahoma City.

Lawton EZ Go Sells Two Big Winning Tickets in One Weekend
Over the weekend the EZ Go in Lawton at 2808 NW 52nd Street became a very lucky place. The store sold not one but two winning Powerball tickets, one for $30,000 and one for $10,000. Today, the Oklahoma Lottery is seeking the ticket owners.
Both sets of winning numbers were chosen using Easy Pick, but only one of the two winning tickets included the Power Play option. The lucky winner that selected the Power Play option tripled their prize to $30,000.
