OK Education Lottery Marks $400 Million in Contributions to OK Education
The Oklahoma Education Lottery has raised more than $400 million for Oklahoma education—and in turn, helped support colleges and universities across the state.
“Reaching $400 million in contributions to education is a significant milestone and serves as a reminder that the Oklahoma Lottery is here to help support Oklahoma education,” said Jim Scroggins, Oklahoma Education Lottery executive director. “We look forward to future contributions to help our young people be successful.”
Lottery proceeds can be used throughout the state to supplement existing funds for a variety of important education purposes, including: teacher compensation and benefits, early childhood development programs, college scholarships, classroom technology and construction of educational facilities.

Mangum Residents Claim $1,000,000 Winning Powerball Ticket!
Joe and Alice Gray of Mangum have claimed the winning Powerball ticket worth $1,000,000. The couple chose the Power Play option for an additional dollar and became instant millionaires by matching five of five white balls.
The Gray’s learned they had won on Sunday morning when Alice read the winning numbers in the newspaper.
