Since its launch in 2005, the Oklahoma Lottery has awarded a total of 27 prizes of $1 million or more.  Of the 27 millionaires, four are Powerball jackpot winners and five are Hot Lotto jackpot winners.

The Powerball changes, which went into effect on Jan. 15, 2012, have resulted in more than 555 millionaires nationwide.

To win a million dollar prize in Powerball, the player has to correctly match five of five white balls.  If the player wins a $1 million prize and has opted for the Power Play option, their prize will be doubled to $2 million.
