Oklahoma Lottery Encourages Responsible Play This Holiday Season
Players Must Be At Least 18 Years of Age

OKLAHOMA CITY (Nov. 20, 2015) - The holiday season is quickly approaching and the Oklahoma Lottery wants to encourage everyone to play responsibly.

Players must be 18 years of age or older to legally purchase or redeem Oklahoma Lottery products. "Lottery tickets make great stocking stuffers, but please keep the person’s age in mind. Oklahoma law prohibits the gifting of Lottery products to anyone under the age of 18," said Rollo Redburn, Executive Director of the Oklahoma Lottery.

The Oklahoma Lottery is once again joining the annual Holiday Lottery campaign, partnering with several other state Lotteries and the National Council on Problem Gambling to increase public awareness about the impact of giving lottery products as gifts to minors. This campaign encourages parents and loved ones not to give Lottery products as holiday gifts to minors.
