Norman Man Wins $100,000 Playing Powerball

OKLAHOMA CITY (June 1, 2018) - James Morgan of Norman won $100,000 playing Powerball from the Oklahoma Lottery.

Morgan successfully matched four of five white balls and the Powerball to win; he also purchased the Power Play multiplier feature for an extra dollar. The multiplier for the May 30 drawing was 2, which doubled his original prize of $50,000 to $100,000.

Morgan, who was on his way to a previously planned vacation when he claimed his winnings, purchased his winning ticket at Homeland located at 1251 Alameda Street in Norman.
