The Double Play drawing occurs immediately after the Powerball drawing on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Can players buy a ticket for only the Double Play drawing?
No. Double Play is a Powerball add-on feature. You must purchase a $2 Powerball ticket in order to add the $1 Double Play option to your ticket.
Can players buy a Powerball ticket with both the Power Play and Double Play options?
Yes! Double Play can be added to any Powerball ticket.
Does the Power Play multiplier apply to Double Play prizes?
No. The Power Play multiplier will only apply to prizes won in the Powerball drawing. Prizes won in the Double Play drawing can’t be multiplied.
Will players have separate numbers for the Double Play drawing?
No! When you buy a Powerball ticket and add Double Play for $1, that ticket is good for both drawings!
Are Powerball prizes changing because of Double Play?
No. The Powerball prize structure will remain the same. Double Play has its own prize structure.
What time are the drawings?
The Powerball drawing will remain at 9:59 p.m., the Double Play drawing will occur between 10:10 – 10:40 p.m.
